Hunter Wetlands Centre

Australian Reed Warbler

Back to more mundane locations for my daily walks ... Yesterday I had to go out to the University to sign some documents, so I popped across to the Wetlands centre for a few minutes. The grevillea and callistemon are coming into flower, attracting the local honeyeaters.

A pair of reed warblers spent some time gleaning insects from amongst the flowers.
